Returns & Refunds Policy / Right of Withdrawal

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through the YONÉ online shop.

1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, received the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs. This does not include any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier. We will use the same payment method for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

3. Returning the Goods

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please use a trackable shipping method and keep proof of postage until the return has been fully processed.

4. Condition of Returned Items

Please return the item carefully packaged and, where possible, in its original packaging.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. This means you may inspect the item as you would in a physical store. If the item shows signs of use beyond such inspection, we may deduct the corresponding loss in value from your refund.

5. One-of-One Pieces

All YONÉ pieces are one-of-one items. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal for standard ready-made pieces purchased through the online shop. Due to the one-of-one nature of our pieces, we usually cannot offer direct exchanges. If you wish to return an item, you may exercise your right of withdrawal and place a new order if another piece is available.

6. Custom-Made or Personalised Products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the customer, or goods that are clearly personalised. This exception only applies to custom-made or personalised products.

It does not apply to standard ready-made one-of-one pieces offered in the YONÉ online shop.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if the
item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item.

Your statutory rights in case of defective goods remain unaffected.

8. No Voluntary Returns Beyond Statutory Rights

We currently do not offer voluntary returns beyond your statutory right of withdrawal.
This does not affect your legal rights, especially your rights in case of defective goods.
